About Me
Shannon Pedlar Bossung has worked with horses in many capacities throughout
her life. As a facility manager, trainer, student, groom, competitor, and show
secretary, she has learned to appreciate horses of many different breeds and
temperaments. During her employ at the Morven Park Equestrian Center from
2002-2011, Shannon served as secretary for numerous large licensed dressage
shows, licensed sport horse breed shows, licensed horse trials through the CCI
level, and hunter/jumper shows, as well as coordinating clinics with such
luminaries as George Morris and Charles DeKunffy. Shannon has also supported
various GMO's licensed dressage and breed shows as a secretary, manager,
stable manager and competitor, including VADA/NOVA, CDCTA, and PVDA.
Shannon was also the recipient of a USDF Silver Medal Rider Achievement award
in 2007, and her Bronze Medal in 2006. Through her efforts with Equestrian Event
Management, LLC., Shannon hopes to offer other horse enthusiasts opportunities
to learn and have fun with their equine partners.
